First up is the crate seats; however, mine are a little different from those seen on pinterest. I used real milk crates so they do not have the ledges inside for a seat to sit down inside of them. So my husband made somewhat of a box lid to go on top using plywood and fern strip for the edges. Then I used foam on top and covered with vinyl tablecloth so it would easy to clean. Sorry no step by step pics but here is the final product.
Sorry about the picture quality it was taken with my phone.
Next up I wanted something cute to go on my door to start the school year off. I saw this on pinterest, but it really wasn't on a classroom door. It was used for a b-day party, but I liked it so much I thought it would work for my 1st grade door.
I made a 1 to stand for 1st grade. I traced the one onto foamboard using my projector, cut it, and then glued the buttons on it. I have since attached ribbon to the top and hung it on my door at school, but I don't have a pic of that.
So there are my two main projects along with making curtains for my room.

Melissa and I will be back soon with pics of our classrooms. She is doing a camping theme and I am doing a space theme. We will also post the awning we both made for our school store soon once I have a pic. So make sure to check back.
